The Shape-Shifting Crawler Robot

Farshid Rashidi, master student of mechanical engineering at AUT and implementer of "Crawling Robot" project, said: "One of the limitations of crawler robots is that they cannot configure their external figures; this robot is a combination of a series and minimalistic robots, which do not have the limitations of crawler robots and can be used in research, rescue missions, pipe inspection, etc.”
This robot was designed and built with the guidance of Dr. Hamed Ghaffarirad and Dr. Muhammad Zareinezhad in the New Technologies Research Institute of AUT.
