AUT Researchers successfully recycled all three components of vanadium, molybdenum, and nickel for producing catalysts.Recycling these metals from the used catalysts of the Shazand Refinery will generate more than $7 million in added value within one year.
Alireza Babae was the project executive, and other members of the research team, from Amirkabir University of Technology's Materials and Metallurgy Engineering, were: Mehdi Hamze, Hamed Shoushtari, Hadi Khalife, Vahid Niksefat, Armin Javadi Namin, Faeze Rahimi Kashani, and Faeze Shamsi.
The project has been supervised by Dr. Milad Rezaei, a faculty member of Amirkabir University of Technology.
