Ultrasonic Separator for Natural Gas Dehumidification

 | Post date: 2023/01/11 |
The researchers at AUT have achieved great success in creating an ultrasonic separator for natural gas dehumidification. This device is used at the exit of gas wells to dehumidify and recover gas condensates and separate them from natural gas. Sina Nabati, a Ph.D. graduate at the university explained “it is a necessity to find a new method to recover gas condensates. This enables us to prevent environmental issues of common processes and produce many economic profits. In our project, we created a device that is functional on a semi-industrial scale. In addition, this device has the essential tools for separating sour gases such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide in natural gas sweetening units.
It is worth mentioning that supervisors of this project are Dr. Abbas Naderifar, Dr. Fethullah Farhadi, and Dr. Gholamreza Pazuki, AUT and Sharif University of Technology faculty members.
