A joint international program between Iran and Russia titled "Entrepreneurship and Future Skills" was held at Amirkabir University of Technology with the aim of sustainable development and commercialization of ideas. The program was hosted by the Academy of Foreign Trade of Russia and the Management Faculty of Amirkabir University of Technology.
The goal of this three-month program was to engage in collaborative teamwork for learning and generating ideas in the field of business and sustainable development. The program was designed to enhance international interaction and collaboration through online cooperation between professors and students from both countries.
Dr. Mehdi Majidpour, the head of the Management Faculty at Amirkabir University of Technology, mentioned that 30 Iranian students and 30 Russian students participated in this program and were guided by professors from both sides.
Dr. Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Emamian, Dr. Morteza Zamanyan, and Alireza Sheikh were mentioned by Dr. Majidpour as the Iranian professors involved in this program. He emphasized that expanding international collaborations is one of the key strategies of the Management Faculty.
Dr. Majidpour continued by stating that students in this program, after completing an introductory course, independently selected topics related to the challenges of sustainable development and major issues of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They focused on analyzing the situations of the countries and providing a comparative analysis. This process ultimately helps student groups develop an entrepreneurial business idea in line with sustainable development goals.
It is worth mentioning that participation in this program was free for Iranian students, and participants received a valid certificate from the Academy of Foreign Trade of Russia.
