The university chancellor announced an increase in student clubs at Amirkabir University of Technology.
The chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology stated that the university has a special interest in expanding the activities of student associations and clubs. Through the efforts and follow-ups of students and the cultural manager of the university, 4 new clubs will be added to the university's existing clubs.
According to the public relations office of Amirkabir University of Technology, Dr. Alireza Rahaei, during a ceremony commemorating Girls' Day, highlighted the significance of the days of the birth of Hazrat Masoumeh and the birth of Hazrat Imam Reza, stating that these days hold a special place among Iranians and Shiites.
He continued by saying that these days, besides bringing joy to everyone, remind us of the status of women and, more importantly, what kind of role models we can learn from the personal qualities of these two infallibles.
Dr. Rahaei added that Hazrat Masoumeh and Hazrat Imam Reza were born in the arms of pious parents, and the influence of their brother, Hazrat Imam Reza, played a significant role in shaping their personalities.
He emphasized that the presence of these two great figures in the holy cities of Qom and Mashhad is a source of pride for all Iranians, and every year they strive to visit these blessed places.
The chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology continued by stating that more than 4 decades after the Islamic Revolution, Iranian Muslim women have excelled in various social, managerial, and specialized fields. In the recent national exam, 65% of the participants were women, and 35% were men.
Dr. Rahaei mentioned that the fact that our women prioritize education and learning and are interested in their academic growth is a source of happiness. He noted that these successes are increasing day by day, and in the future, these achievements will be even greater.
Addressing the youth present at the university, the chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology stated that they are well aware of the influential qualities in shaping human character. He emphasized that these educational qualities help individuals play a successful role in shaping families alongside their academic and social positions.
He added that at Amirkabir University of Technology, they are striving to create an environment where all students can develop their ideas and thoughts in cultural activities through associations and cultural and artistic clubs, in addition to their academic activities.
He concluded by stating that these activities play a significant role in shaping individuals within the social environment.
The chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology addressed the development of cultural activities at the university and stated: "All of us university officials are committed to the development of cultural activities alongside academic activities, and several factors are involved in this matter, one of which is creating enthusiasm among youth through cultural activities. This enthusiasm will have a positive impact on their academic activities."

He mentioned shaping the character of young people as another positive effect of cultural activities of students and said: "The university is particularly interested in developing the activities of associations and clubs in a way that, following the efforts of students and the cultural manager of the university over the past month, 4 new clubs will be added to the university's existing clubs."
He expressed that having a variety of clubs can help us cater to the tastes of more students, so there is emphasis and attention in the field of clubs and associations. Additionally, regarding the student council, it should be noted that these councils have their own specific functions and may not overlap with the activities of clubs because student councils address issues related to student welfare such as dormitories and food.
Rahaei continued by stating that students can have good oversight over student-related issues, adding: "We also try to address any shortcomings if they exist."
He announced the organization of a meeting with associations in the coming days and said: "The elections of the clubs will also be held soon, and new teams will enter. The purpose of holding these meetings is for the teams to present their opinions, and we will try to adopt a process to fulfill requests and improve cultural and student conditions."
Rahaei emphasized: "I promise that all university management entities are particularly interested in creating suitable conditions, but there are some limitations in terms of financial resources."
During this ceremony, Dr. Rahaei, the university chancellor, Hojatoleslam Rajabi, the head of the office of the Supreme Leader at the university, Dr. Rahimi Klarijani, the director of the presidency area, Engineer Iranpouri, the cultural manager, and Dr. Izadian, the head of the counseling center, were present.
