Cooperation Agreement between Amirkabir University of Technology and the National Informatics Council”

Amirkabir University of Technology and the National Informatics Council signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at developing technological, educational, and research collaborations in the banking industry.
According to the public relations of Amirkabir University of Technology, in this meeting, which was attended by the chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology, the CEO of the National Informatics Company, and other officials from both sides, and hosted by Amirkabir University of Technology, a joint cooperation agreement in the fields of developing new technologies, education, and research in the banking industry was signed in 10 articles.
Dr. Alireza Rahaei, chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology, said at this ceremony: Amirkabir University of Technology is the mother of industrial universities and the most comprehensive engineering university in the country, which has also implemented many projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
He added: In the field of drafting the national artificial intelligence document, the first part of which is the development of artificial intelligence education, with the good synergy and interactions that have taken place, we have been able to meet the needs of artificial intelligence to a large extent.
The chancellor of Amirkabir University of Technology then stated that artificial intelligence has transformed many programs and emphasized: Good actions have been taken in the faculties of industries, chemistry, and petrochemicals at Amirkabir University of Technology in the field of smartening, and with the presence of the elites of the Faculty of Computer Science, the central core of artificial intelligence has been formed and many projects have been defined.
Rahaei continued: The Health Technology Research Institute of Amirkabir University of Technology is one of the active research institutes that has been active in various fields, especially in the development of new banking and insurance technologies, and it is hoped that with the capabilities that exist in this research institute, by following up on this agreement and implementing it and cooperating with the National Informatics Company, we will witness good results in the development of new banking technologies.
**Readiness of the National Informatics Council for the Development of Innovative Banking Technologies in Collaboration with Amirkabir University of Technology**
In continuation, Dr. Alireza Mahyar, CEO of the National Informatics Company, referred to the remarks of the Supreme Leader regarding the necessity for Iran to be among the top 10 countries in the world. He stated that various industries, including the banking sector, are striving to reach this position and to apply artificial intelligence.

He added that Amirkabir University of Technology has a strong capacity for producing scientific articles in the field of artificial intelligence in the country, but progress will not be made until we move towards the practical application of this technology.
Dr. Mahyar emphasized that the development of innovative technologies based on the latest scientific findings in the world and local modeling from the successes of leading banks globally is one of the objectives of this memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Amirkabir University of Technology. He expressed hope that with the implementation of this agreement, this goal would soon be achieved.
The CEO of the National Informatics Company stressed the organization's readiness to enter specialized fields, saying that there is a willingness to scholarship specialized and educated individuals in the banking network and to employ them in the nation's critical networks.
In conclusion, Dr. Mahyar noted that he hopes this memorandum will pave the way for expanding collaboration with Amirkabir University of Technology in addressing the needs of the country’s banking network.
The memorandum covers topics such as the development and localization of innovative banking technologies and non-financial banking systems, utilizing university capacity to guide theses aimed at solving issues in the monetary and banking sector, supporting innovative and technological projects and startups in banking, and training and employing specialized university graduates in banking and applied research in the banking industry.
