24 students from Amirkabir University ranked in 10 fields of the national student scientific Olympiad.

The head of the Exceptional Talents and Olympiads Office at Amirkabir University announced that 24 students from the university achieved top rankings in 10 fields at the 29th National Student Olympiad. According to the university's public relations office, Dr. Iman Sharifi mentioned the participation of the university's students in the scientific Olympiad, adding that with the announcement of the results of the Olympiad, fortunately, most of the students from the university who reached the final stage were able to earn ranks.
He noted that in this Olympiad, Parsa Hashemi Khersand secured the first rank in Computer Engineering, and Ali Samadian ranked first in Materials Science and Metallurgy. Sharifi also pointed out that three students from the university, Amirhossein Tarami in Chemical Engineering, Ariana Ghafari in Materials Science and Metallurgy, and Soheil Haghighi Najafabadi in Mathematics and Applications, achieved second place.
The head of the Exceptional Talents and Olympiads Office continued that Hamid Khalighi in Civil Engineering, Amirhossein Bagheri Babookani in Electrical Engineering, and Mirmohammad Seydan Kiyuj in Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering secured the fifth rank. Sharifi emphasized that in total, 24 students from the university ranked from first to 40th in 10 engineering fields, including Computer Engineering, Materials Science and Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
Sharifi congratulated the successful students and the Amirkabir University community on this achievement. He mentioned that a ceremony will be held to honor these students, and noted that Olympiad students can benefit from opportunities such as admission to master's programs without entrance exams and monthly scholarships based on the Olympiad regulations and scholarship policies.
The final round of the 29th National Student Olympiad was held on the morning and afternoon of Friday, Mordad 5, 1403, in universities located in ten regions across the country, with the participation of top students from the centralized master's entrance exam and the winners of the first round of the decentralized Olympiad exam. Participants in this Olympiad competed in fields including Persian Language and Literature, Geography, Economics, Theology and Islamic Knowledge, Educational Sciences, Law, Psychology, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Metallurgy, Computer Engineering, Agricultural Engineering (Crop Production and Plant Breeding), and Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering.
