A faculty member from the Chemical Engineering Department of Amirkabir University of Technology was honored as one of the leading scientists in the country at the ninth event recognizing prominent scholars in Iran. According to the public relations office of Amirkabir University of Technology, the ninth event supporting eminent scholars in Iran was held by the National Science Foundation of Iran, with the attendance of Dr. Hossein Afshin, Deputy for Scientific and Technological Affairs of the Presidency.
In this ninth edition of the event, 57 distinguished researchers were recognized. Dr. Beita Zamiri, an assistant professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Amirkabir University of Technology, was chosen as one of the leading scholars in the country for 2024 due to her publication of articles in leading journals.
This event has been held since 2015 and aims to support leading scholars with the goal of achieving scientific authority, enhancing scientific quality in the country, and assisting in the advancement of credible research by researchers at the international level. Annually, a number of researchers from universities, research institutes, and scientific research organizations that have published articles in prominent scientific publications are recognized.
These select recipients are eligible for supportive incentives in the form of cash grants and assistance in attracting postdoctoral researchers.
