Geochemical Laboratory

 | Post date: 2019/12/3 |
This laboratory is used to determine the three main thermodynamic parameters of ore systems, including temperature, pressure, and the composition of mineralization-bearing fluids. These fluids may have remained almost unchanged for millions of years in tailing minerals co-existence with economic minerals. The parameters determined in this laboratory are applied to model the deposit, determine the genesis and finally control the proposed exploration system in the studied deposit.
Laboratory Research Activities
  • Determining the thermodynamic parameters of ore-bearing fluids (metallic and non-metallic) and hydrocarbon sources (petroleum and gas) to determine the genesis and process of underground expansion at the level of research and graduate projects.
Laboratory Equipment
  • Fluid inclusions analyzer made by Linkam Company, UK
  • Binocular microscope
