This laboratory is equipped with mirror stereoscope and geological, topography and isometric maps. Different tasks including interpretation and processing stereo data, remote sensing and cartography are carried out in this laboratory.

Educational Activities of the Laboratory
- Training the basics and principles of theoretical and applied photogeology in mining exploration and mining exploitation engineering
- Training the basics and principles of cartography
- Processing aerial and satellite imagery using the DVP system
- Introduction to satellite imagery
- Training the map-reading including surface, subsurface and during construction
- Creating the geological map using ArcGIS software
- Creating the topographical map using ArcGIS software
- Carrying out the preliminary (feasibility study), semi-detailed, detailed exploration studies of mineral resources (open pit and underground mines) and structural explorations of technical buildings (tunnels, roads, railways, and dam sites)
- Carrying out the tectonic and structural studies related to the exploration of the mineral and hydrocarbon resources
- Carrying out the industry-related research projects
- GPS: Surveying the digital information of geographic coordinates of points on the earth
- Digital Video Plotter System (DVP): Processing aerial and satellite imagery and producing a variety of geological, mining and topographical maps.
- 3-D model: Training geology along with tectonic and structural studies of mineral and hydrocarbon resources
- Stereoscope: To photogrammetry, interpretation of aerial and satellite imagery
- 3-D models of surface and subsurface: Training and practicing map-reading and cartography

- 3-D topographical model: Training the surface and subsurface geology along with tectonic and structural studies of mineral and hydrocarbon resources
