Amirkabir University of Technology Associate Professor Named Top Researcher in Community-Industry Collaboration

An associate professor from Amirkabir University of Technology has been named the country's top researcher in the field of industry collaboration.
According to the Public Relations Department of Amirkabir University of Technology, Dr. Ali Kamali Eighli, an associate professor in the university's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, was selected as the Distinguished Researcher in Community-Industry Cooperation during the 26th National Selection of Top Technologists and Researchers.
Dr. Kamali, born in 1982, began his career as a full-time faculty member in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 2012. He earned his bachelor's degree from Amirkabir University of Technology and his master's and doctoral degrees from Sharif University of Technology.
During his tenure, this faculty member has held several administrative positions, serving effectively as the Vice President for Development and Resource Management at Amirkabir University of Technology, as well as the Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, the Vice Dean for Finance and Administration, and the Manager of Student and Cultural Affairs for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
His extensive industrial collaborations include the review and supervision of over 200 feasibility and oversight studies across diverse sectors. Notable projects involve:
• Tariff determination for various industrial products and private electricity sales.
• The electrification project for the Bafgh-Bandar Abbas railway.
• Projects with Tehran Cement, Zargan Power Plant, Khorramshahr, and Assaluyeh.
• Projects in the steel and dairy industries.
• A feasibility study for establishing a small industries exchange.
• Valuation of the country's wastewater treatment plants for privatization.
• Collaboration with the Privatization Office of the Ministry of Energy, the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, the National Building Company, the Airports Company, the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran, the National Steel Company, and the Saba Power and Energy Company.
• Developing production, testing, and coating standards for fasteners.
• The manufacturing process for various parts of Pars Khodro products.
