The “Smart Language Education Program,” aimed at enhancing language education and developing intelligent educational infrastructures, has been launched under the supervision of the Office of International Affairs at Amirkabir University of Technology, in collaboration with a knowledge based institute.
According to the Public Relations Office of Amirkabir University of Technology, the implementation of this program, designed to advance and promote the Persian language and literature at both national and international levels, has begun within the strategic framework set by the University Executive Board, with an emphasis on the innovative approaches of the Office of International Affairs.
Led by the Office of International Affairs and carried out in partnership with the knowledge based institute “Moj-e Tafakkor Danesh-Gostar,” the initiative seeks to integrate emerging educational technologies and develop intelligent solutions in the field of language instruction. As an active player within the national technology ecosystem, this institute has, in recent years, accumulated significant operational experience through its focus on the development of language learning technologies, the design of smart learning platforms, and the establishment of modern infrastructures for Persian language assessment—including the development of the international “PARS” examination.
In the first phase, the program focuses on the AI-driven transformation of Persian language courses and is being implemented with the aim of improving learner access, enhancing the quality of instruction, and delivering technology- enhanced educational services.
The system has been designed in alignment with the frameworks and requirements of Persian language proficiency examinations, including the “Parsik” test administered by the National Organization for Educational Testing. This alignment enables the platform to serve as an integrated infrastructure for both instruction and assessment of language skills, contributing meaningfully to the standardization and advancement of Persian language evaluation systems.
This initiative is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening Amirkabir University of Technology’s position as one of the country’s leading institutions in the development of educational technologies and as a foundation for expanding Persian language education in international contexts.
