The National Elites Foundation has released its ranking of the country’s leading universities based on the indicator of the per capita number of National Elites Foundation awardees at each university, with Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) placed third nationwide.The evaluation placed Sharif University of Technology first, Tehran University of Medical Sciences second, and Amirkabir University of Technology third. The ranking was determined by comparing the number of National Elites Foundation awardees at each university with its total student population.
