The latest Entrepreneurship Gathering provided an opportunity for technology companies at the Science and Technology Park of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) to come together in a different setting and discuss one of the key factors contributing to growth in the innovation ecosystem: communication and collaboration among companies. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Ghorayshi, Deputy Head of the Park, spoke about the importance of establishing a communication network among technology-based companies and the experience of platforms in different parts of the world that facilitate such connections.
The program continued with the unveiling of the “NoUp” Platform, a platform designed by student assistants active in the Park’s Research and Development sector. The platform aims to facilitate communication among technology companies in the Amirkabir Innovation District and make access to and the exchange of services among these companies easier. A member of the student team that designed NoUp also introduced the platform’s features and functions to the participants. An initial credit has also been allocated to technology companies affiliated with the Park to enable them to begin using the platform.
In another part of the program, Dr. Naderi, Head of the Park, spoke about the role of individuals and organizations whose presence, interaction, and activities give the Park its identity and transform it into a distinctive environment for growth and the development of collaboration. The Education Manager of the Iran Patent Center then introduced the Center’s services and facilities in the field of patent registration and responded to questions from the managers of technology companies regarding these services.
The program concluded with an afternoon gathering and refreshments, providing a more informal setting for discussion, getting to know one another, and fostering connections among the managers and members of the Park’s technology companies.
