Amirkabir University of Technology has secured the highest position among Iranian universities in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027.
The ranking evaluates the performance of research-intensive universities across five key areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. Among these indicators, measures such as industry income and patents are particularly significant for leading universities in engineering and technology.
In addition to its overall ranking, Amirkabir University of Technology ranked 99th globally in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings, ranking first among Iranian universities in this category.
