Dear Academicians of Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic),
Undoubtedly, last year was a year of ups and downs for dear Iran. A year that, in spite of its challenging days, the bitterness and suffering that it brought to the Iranians, brought a ray of empathy, companionship and emergence of selfless struggles at times.
We thank God that the great and proud family of Amirkabir University of Technology was able to take steady steps in the path of scientific advancement and growth of the country with its great efforts; in the midst of crises and imposed sanctions, and reach valuable educational, research and cultural achievements.
Now, on the eve of ancient Nowruz; while congratulating the new year, I would like to express my gratitude for the tireless efforts of all esteemed professors, dear staff and students and invite all of you to utilize existing capacities and capabilities of the university to continue to advance its goals and realize our outlined prospects.
It is hoped that the harmony of "Nowruz" and the glory of blossoming in "Spring" and its symmetry with the blessed months of "Rajab, Sha'ban and Ramadan" will be a spiritual promise for great times to come.
I ask God Almighty for the health of you and your esteemed families, with the hope that next year will be a blessed year, far from suffering for Iran and Iranians, and full of success for Amirkabir Technical Academics.
