Weaving Workshop
Weaving is a method of textile production by which a woven surface is produced. Woven fabric is produced by interlacing warp and weft yarns. In general, weaving involves using a loom to interlace two sets of threads, which the warp lies along the length of the fabric where the filling (or weft) lies is across the width. In this workshop, everything from a brief explanation on the concept of weaving, to the different types of shuttle and shuttle less weaving loom and technology will be covered. The purpose of this workshop is to carry out educational and research activities.
