Smart Cloud Systems for Preliminary Disease and Drug Interactions Diagnosis Developed by AUT Researchers

Researchers of a company based in the Innovation Center of the department of Electrical Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology managed to develop applications to detect drug interactions and diagnose the preliminary stages of the disease based on smart algorithms and clinical data; and diagnose brain and neurological diseases by processing clinical and paraclinical data.
Nima Sharifi Sadeghi, Electrical Engineering graduate of AUT and head of Dastyar Salamat Pishgam (RNS) Company and developer of the project for “Analysis and Isolation of Psychotropic Disease Using Deep Networks, and Improvement of Three-Dimensional Separation of Brain Tumors Using Generalized Multilayer Networks” said: we intend to develop special applications within the framework of this project, including an application that facilitates diagnosis of brain and neurological disease using differential diagnoses and paraclinical images.
The second application developed by this team is related to drug interactions; because recently, numerous lives have been endangered by drug interactions. The third application is used to diagnose diseases such as M.S, Alzheimer, Parkinson, and etc. using clinical symptoms.
The project is led by Dr. Mohammad Bagher Mahnaj, professor at the department of Electrical Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology.
