Catalytic Production for Direct Reduction of Iron and Petrochemical Industries

 | Post date: 2020/12/1 |
Mohammad Hadi Aghaali, a graduate of Amirkabir University of Technology and the executor of the project "Enhancing the catalytic performance of Co substituted NiAl2O4 spinel by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method for steam and dry reforming of methane", said that Iran has the second largest gas reserves in the world. The use of methods that can maximize the efficiency of these reserves has always been studied.
He added: Nickel catalysts which are made by inoculation with alumina base are used commonly in the industry. Spray pyrolysis method is a powder making method of different material which has interesting benefits such as fast production, Synthesis of identical homogeneous particles with the same distribution and ability to synthesize particles with different morphologies.
It should be mentioned that the advisors of this project were Dr. Sadegh Firoozi, a faculty member of Amirkabir University of Technology and Dr. Hamed Aboutalebi a faculty members of the IPM Institute For Research In Fundamental Sciences. Mr. Amir Hossein Shahnazi, a doctoral student of Amirkabir University, also collaborated in this project.
