Dr. Azam Jalali-Arani, an associate professor at Amirkabir University of Technology’s department of polymer engineering, won the prize in the third festival of women and science. Dr. Jalali-Arani has supervised seven doctoral dissertations and 44 master's dissertations so far. She has also published 65 journal papers and 132 conference papers.
She has registered five patents domestically, has translated a book and is publishing a book, has participated in the development of numerous national standards, and has been the director of the technical committee of rubber parts standard development under the supervision of ISO for a while.
