On behalf of the faculty members, industrial colleagues and staff at the Institute for Advanced Textile Materials and Technologies at Amirkabir University of Technology, I warmly welcome you. Textile and clothing engineers have long provided valuable services to the community in terms of production and technological advancement. A wide range of industries and services depend on the processes, mechanisms and products of the textile and clothing industries. Today, in addition to traditional products in the textile and clothing industries, including a variety of fibers, yarns, fabrics, carpets and nonwovens, emerging fields include biotechnology, tissue engineering, wearables, composite materials, and civil and environmental engineering. The scope of application of textile products has increased, and we believe that the training provided in these fields can provide more new horizons and opportunities for textile engineers than in the past.
This institute, as the first and oldest research institute active in the field of textiles, is currently trying to have scientific tools by conducting educational and research activities in all sections and trends related to the textile and clothing industries, as well as interdisciplinary trends. , To provide the educational and research needs of those who have chosen the path of education and research as their path of progress. We also believe that it is both the path of scientific and moral education that will lead to the advancement of human beings.
