Researchers at Amirkabir University of Technology have designed an X-ray imaging system for students.
Yasaman Shaykh-al-Islami, a graduate of AUT and project manager of the "Conceptual Design of a Comprehensive X-Ray Imaging System for Multi-Purpose Imaging Centers" said: the project aims to create a training software package based on the Geant4 Monte Carlo tool similar to Gate. It was developed to implement X-ray-based imaging devices. The system can be utilized as a scientific system in the field of education, especially for introduction of engineering, medical and other students to this field.
Dr. Saeed Satayeshi served as the supervisor to this project.
