Amirkabir University of Technology Ranked 477 by QS, and 17 by International Referrals
Referring to the 17th Edition of World Universities Ranking published by QS, Dr. Jafar Mehrad, founder of Regional Information Center for Science and Technology said that in 2020 QS rankings, five universities from Islamic Republic of Iran, including Amirkabir University of Technology, have been introduced amongst the top 1000 universities of the world.

Irancell Internet is Free for Virtual University Training
Respected Students and professors of AUT,by the follow-ups conducted since last week, the Irancell internet for virtual training systems of the university (LMS courses) has become free. We are following up making the tariff of other operators and internet service providers free, too.

According to the Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations, the educational webinar about “the effect of coronavirus epidemic on business environment” will be held by concentrating on business environment of small and growing companies with a focus on typical model of epidemic, curve leveling, current and future epidemic status, short-term and long-term economical consequences of COVID-19 in Iran and the world, consumer and market behavior alteration during and after this epidemic, impacts of epidemic consequences on small companies, possible scenarios in the field of business by presence of epidemic and programmable strategic actions.

The Second National Award of Logistics and Supply Chain
According to the Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations, Dr. Behrouz Karimi, the director of the national award of logistics and supply chain said: “after several meetings of the executive committee to hold the second national award of logistics and supply chain, we have come to this conclusion that considering coronavirus outbreak and the special condition within the country, we should postpone the second round of the award from the October 2020 to the March 2021.

Launch of A Learning Management System for University Courses
Dear Professors and Students, “The E-Learning Management System for In-person Courses” has been launched in November 2019 by the Information and Communication Technology Center of Amirkabir University of Technology and is available for use by the University's E-Learning Center. All undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses from the current semester from the university portal, along with a list of students enrolled in the system are available.
You can visit https://courses.aut.ac.ir and login using your university Teaching Portal username and password. This system is based on the Moodle platform and is designed for asynchronous teacher and student interaction.

The AUT Foundation will financially support the top 200 scorers of Konkour and World Student Olympiad medalists who choose this university for pursuing their studies.
This scholarship will be renewable for the entire undergraduate program if the privileged conditions are maintained.

Junior PhD Students Must Get their Language Qualification for their PhD Comprehensive Exam
Congratulations on the beginning of the new academic year. PhD students at the end of the first year of study must complete the PhD Comprehensive Exam having a valid language qualification.
Applicants are requested to determine their language status by September 8th applying to the International Language Center of the University (Second Floor) at Alborz Street - Hafez Ave.

Admission Announcement for Master’s Students
All applicants must proceed with their registration in the Educational Portal using the information required under the guidelines set out in Appendix (1) and go their departments with an original form of ID, their Military Service Completion Certificate and their Undergraduate (BSc) diploma on September 16.
Check-in time is 8:30 am to 12:00 am and 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
