Lightest Material in the World for Batteries and Supercapacitors
Researchers at Amirkabir University of Technology were able to acquire the technical knowledge to make the world's lightest material called Aerographene and engineer its structure for use in batteries and supercapacitors. Preventing "Asphaltene" Residue in Oil Wells
Researchers of the Petroleum Engineering Department of the Amirkabir University of Technology used the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) coding and came up with a software that predicts asphaltene buildup in oil wells. “Using this software, we are able to improve the exploitation and transportation of crude oil for the first time,” said Mohammad Masah, a Ph.D. graduate of AUT.
