The Educational Webinar of “The Effect of Corona Epidemic on Business Environment” Will be Held in AUT

According to the Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations, the educational webinar about “the effect of coronavirus epidemic on business environment” will be held by concentrating on business environment of small and growing companies with a focus on typical model of epidemic, curve leveling, current and future epidemic status, short-term and long-term economical consequences of COVID-19 in Iran and the world, consumer and market behavior alteration during and after this epidemic, impacts of epidemic consequences on small companies, possible scenarios in the field of business by presence of epidemic and programmable strategic actions.

The Second National Award of Logistics and Supply Chain

According to the Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations, Dr. Behrouz Karimi, the director of the national award of logistics and supply chain said: “after several meetings of the executive committee to hold the second national award of logistics and supply chain, we have come to this conclusion that considering coronavirus outbreak and the special condition within the country, we should postpone the second round of the award from the October 2020 to the March 2021.

Matchmaking Workshop in Nanofibers Science, Startups and Exhibition at AUT

Since the establishment of its international affairs office, Amirkabir University of Technology has successfully held three scientific matchmaking workshops with the German Research Foundation (DFG), the French Scientific Research Institute (CNRS) and the Swiss Federal Education, Research and Innovation Board (SERI) by the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation and is proud to have very impressive results, including 8 elemental grants for project defined and one major project-related grant obtained by Amirkabir University faculty members and German counterparts from DFG Institute which ranks first among the country’s universities.

Pre-Registration for the Iran FIRA Freestyle RoboWorld Cup 2020 Has Started

The president of the National Robotics Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Federation of International RoboSports Association – FIRA) announced the start of the pre-registration for the International Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition in Iran and said: “The teams that want to participate in this round of the competitions have the chance to send in the technical documentation of their robots until Mar 10th, 2020. Pre-registration for the International Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition (Iranian Freestyle FIRACup) started on Dec 14th, 2019 and will continue until Feb 11th, 2020.”

The 18th conference of the Iranian Aerospace Society began its work. AUT Represents Iran and Asia in the World Championships of Chemicar

The Amirkabir University of Technology’s team will be the sole representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Asia at the World Championships in Chemistry in Germany. Dr. Mustafa Keshavarz Moraveji said: AUT’s team, after three stages of theoretical testing and obtaining the maximum points required, is allowed to compete in these competitions and will competes with teams from Europe on November 4 and 5.

Winners of The 4th Metallography Competitions Were Announced at AUT

Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations office reported that at the 4th  metallography competition hosted by AUT, 26 teams from universities across from the country competed. Following the opening ceremony on Oct 24th the teams were judged and according to their scores, the Technography team (from Isfahan University of Technology) and Arsmond (from Amirkabir University of Technology) jointly took the first place.

AUT’s Podium Lecture Competition was Held & Its Top Competitors Were Introduced

According to Public Relations of Amirkabir University of Technology, the Podium lecture competition aimed at enhancing speech and communication skills was held for the seventh consecutive year at Amirkabir University of Technology for the two groups of students and adults. Based on the vote of the referees winners of the senior section respectively were Batul Naseri, Mohammad Hossein Larijani and Parisa Khan Mohammadi, and the top students were Alireza Sarfrazian, Forough Sadat Hejazian and Mahdis Afiz.

19th AUT International Student Programming Competition

The 19th  AUT International Student Programming Competition would be held on Nov 8 in the computer engineering department of AUT. This competition is being held with the support of Sabaidea company with the participation of 65 teams from across the country. Each team consists of 3 students they will compete in the Computer Engineering Faculty of Amirkabir University of Technology. . Amirkabir University of Technology's School of Computer Engineering, in line with the goals of the main ICPC competitions to select the top teams to compete in the regional championships, holds an official national competition to select students that will go to the West Asian Championships every year. The high quality if this tournament has become a guideline for many teams from universities across the country. Participants can refer to icpc.aut.ac.ir for more information.
