Amid recent discussions between Iran and Indonesia aimed at expanding scientific and technological cooperation, a delegation of senior officials from two Indonesian institutions active in governance, leadership development, smart government, and emerging technologies visited the Amirkabir University of Technology Science and Technology Park and the Central Laboratory of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) during their 17-day visit to Iran.
According to the Public Relations Office of Amirkabir University of Technology, the delegation visited the university’s Science and Technology Park and Central Laboratory as part of its 17-day visit to Iran. The visit was coordinated by the International Affairs Office of Amirkabir University of Technology.
The delegation comprised three senior representatives from the two Indonesian institutions. Dr. Prayogi R. Saputra, Director of Sekolah Negarawan and head of the delegation, was responsible for the academic cooperation and leadership aspects of the mission.
Rinto Setiyawan, Deputy Director of Sekolah Negarawan and Commissioner of PT. Enygma Solusi Negeri, served as the deputy head of the delegation and was responsible for executive coordination and technology cooperation.
Sayyid Abdullah Assegaf, serving as Director of Communications, lecturer in International Relations at Universitas Brawijaya, and responsible for the delegation’s scientific diplomacy and international communications, was also a member of the delegation.
The delegation’s visit to Amirkabir University of Technology was aligned with the objectives of the mission in several respects. With its established record of international cooperation, AUT can provide a platform for expanding faculty and student exchanges and strengthening academic collaboration between the two countries.
The Amirkabir University of Technology Science and Technology Park, with 200 technology units, also offers an appropriate setting for introducing the innovation ecosystem model, the commercialization of scientific achievements, and the development of knowledge-based companies to the delegation.
In the areas of smart government and digital technologies, the International Information Technology Conference and the university’s plans to establish an Artificial Intelligence Research Center are among the capacities that could be of interest to the Indonesian delegation.

It operates with the aim of preparing future executives, developing national leaders, improving governance, and strengthening evidence-based policymaking.

The company develops digital solutions for government, industry, urban management, and public-sector organizations.
