Amirkabir University of Technology ranked in 7 areas in the 2024 Shanghai Subject Rankings. According to the public relations office of Amirkabir University of Technology, the Shanghai Ranking system has released the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) for the eighth consecutive year in 2024. This ranking covers 55 fields across 5 main categories: Natural Sciences (8 fields), Engineering (23 fields), Life Sciences (4 fields), Medical Sciences (6 fields), and Social Sciences (14 fields). More than 1,900 universities from 5,000 institutions across 96 countries made it to the final list of this ranking. In this ranking, 29 universities from the Islamic Republic of Iran are represented.
